Welcome to Jackson Elementary!

Jackson is very lucky to have such a beautiful building located in such a gorgeous place.  Our building is nestled along the Green River, with mountains and the famous Scott’s Bottom right below us.

We are also very fortunate to have a dedicated and welcoming staff at Jackson.  The teachers and support staff have been working and preparing for our students during their summertime.  We have 19 highly qualified classroom teachers, a Title One teacher, two ELL teachers, and two resource teachers.  We also offer art, music, media, computer, health, and physical education classes to your students.  Our focus is to make a difference with the students attending

We have approximately 260 students attending kindergarten through fourth grade at Jackson Elementary.   Our school hours are from 8:45 am until 3:25 pm.  The staff is ready to provide instruction to meet the needs of the individual students, and to help students reach their highest potential.

Our school vision and mission statement is “We inspire learning for all, because every student matters.”  We pride ourselves in helping students with their individual needs, and provide opportunities to gain enrichment, more practice, or have more instruction with new concepts in math and reading.

Jackson’s current school goals are:

  • Reading: Jackson Elementary students will become proficient in reading expository texts.

I look forward to working with you in helping your student(s) achieve his highest potential.  Let’s have a great 2015-2016 school year!

Go Jackson Jaguars!
